The jewelry created by Laura Harper grows organically in nature and directs itself through beautiful displays of color and shape reminiscent of ripe fruits on the branches of a tree or the rapidly changing and deepening colors found looking into the waves of the ocean. One can almost taste the pomegranate seeds of one choker and then turn to see the vista of a clouded mountain landscape (reminiscent of Mount Fuji) in the center broach of another. Taste, texture, color, shape and scent are all present in mind when viewing the wondrous works that are created to celebrate and adorn the human body.
